Hi! I’m Jenna!
Jenna (Gaidusek) Guh Doo Sek- I’m sure you were wondering how in the world to pronounce that ;)
I was put on this earth to help people live better in their homes. Yes to make it more beautiful, but mainly to help my clients love where they live. To feel like they can finally LIVE again in their homes.
There is no greater feeling than knowing that your home is a sole reflection of all the things you love. A safe place to just be you and for your family to thrive.
It’s hard to feel healthy and happy sometimes, especially after the past 2+ years of the pandemic if you don’t love where you dwell. That’s where I come in.
I pinpoint what you and your family needs in the space and what you don’t. We work with your existing furniture and fill in the holes with pieces in your price range.
I collaborate locally in Charleston (Nexton) SC or anywhere via my virtual collaboration designer portal. I make the process seamless, informative, collaborative and fun!
How? Because I’ve been doing this for years! I’ve worked with clients in nearly every state collaborating virtually since 2015 and have even created an online community (learn more below) for eDesigners and school that has nearly 5,000 professional members.
This is what makes my heart flutter- knowing that we get to collaborate on a design plan that you are proud to show off to your friends and family.
I look forward to collaborating with you soon!
Jenna

Our Family
My husband and I met when we lived in the Albany area when I was in college. He was a line cook and I was a waitress. Shortly after we both graduated from college, I got a BFA in interior design (fine arts) and he got his culinary degree.
From there we decided after less than a year of dating to start fresh together in Louisville, Kentucky. So we did with barely any money to our name. We both worked our way up the corporate ladder of our respected industry-related jobs into management positions. I was managing a multimillion-dollar producing high-end furniture store by the time I was 24 and my husband was an Executive chef around the same time.
We took every promotion we could get to advance which meant we were able to move from Lousiville to Indianapolis and then Indianapolis to Westchester, NY then to Manhattan.
In NYC we finally got engaged and had our daughter in 2016. But we weren’t done moving. Mike’s job took us on one last big move with a big promotion to the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2018.
After many years of trying, we found out that we were pregnant with our son Mason in 2020. The same year we built our first house.
My career as a virtual designer and community education leader inspired my husband to change his career path and be able to spend more time at home so he hung up his apron when our son was born in July 2021 and now we both work from home. It’s amazing to be able to watch our kids grow up and be able to attend everything on our own time, but they also our passion for what we do as entrepreneurs.
Since we no longer had a job tying us to Gainesville, we decided to do one last move (lucky number 15 for me) to Nexton, South Carolina. Just north of Charleston located in Summerville- a lot of our family has been relocating here over the last decade so since we have yet to put down roots- we figured it was time.
We decided to build in 2021, not the best idea but boy do we have stories- follow my blog for those and see where we are now!
Oh, and did I mention we have done all these moves with 2 cats and a 90lb dog? Good times :)
