How to Style a Console Table with a Refined Farmhouse Touch

Learn how to style an entryway storage console and open base console below and get design tips to style your console or buffet! Note the balance and symmetry of using two tall lamps that flank a mirror or unique piece of artwork.  The secondary visual balance comes from the table top accessories that vary in height and texture.  Always try to mix shades of color (with small pops of your accent color), mixes of texture like wood, metal and stone. This will give you a vignette that is both visually interesting and elegant.

I'm even including shopping links for you so you can either fill in the holes that you may be missing or if you want to start from scratch you can order the entire look. As always, I suggest using what you already have to fill in the gaps- or buy local!

My goal is to help you style your house if you are a new home owner, staging your house to sell, purchased a fixer upper that you want to add a personal touch to or just want to get your house finally styled and looking complete!
